March of Dimes

In 2016, Tri Sigma Nationals partnered with March of Dimes to broaden our philanthropic efforts in regard to the phrase "Sigma Serves Children". Tri Sigma Nationals wanted to find a national philanthropic partner in order to provide opportunities for Tri Sigma Women across the nation to become involved in their own communities.

"With prematurity being the #1 killer of babies in the United States, Tri Sigma stands with March of Dimes in the fight to help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. This partnership provides us a valuable opportunity to expand the work we began in 1951, and continue our mission of Sigmas Serving Children."

This past Spring, members of our chapter were able to raise money and attend the March for Babies that was held at the Mall of America. It was an inspiring experience for all of us who were able to attend the walk because we were able to hear the inspiring stories of families who have been impacted through the March of Dimes organization.
